RSVP: COSHP Event - April General Meeting (4/16/2025) | Central Ohio Society of Health-System Pharmacy

Join the Directors of The OSHP Legal Affairs Division for a casual pint and a discussion regarding relevant legislation that is being proposed both here in Ohio and across the Nation. Grab your favorite beverage and bring some questions for Joe & Dan! This will be an informal meeting and intended to keep you up to date, feel free to join with your camera on (although not required). We encourage you to ask questions and get involved. 

Our vision for these meetings for our members is another opportunity to bring our members together and become more informed about current issues. You do not need to be a member of the legal affairs division to attend this meeting, ALL OSHP Members may attend regardless of division membership.  Click here to learn more about OSHP Divisions.

Pints and Policy will hold a virtual meeting on the last Thursday of each month. These meetings will occur shortly after our overall state affiliate calls so we can relay information and updates on both state and national issues that deserve our attention.

Greater Cincinnati SHP is excited to be hosting a virtual law CE event on Thursday April 24th at 5:30. This event offers 1 CEU.

CE will be provided by University of Cincinnati. Our returning presenter will be Dr. Michael Hegener, PharmD, BCACP. He is the Director of Pharmacy Practice Skills Center and Associate Professor of Pharmacy at the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy. In addition to directing the Skills Center, he has coordinated the Pharmaceutical Calculations, Pharmacy Jurisprudence, and nonsterile compounding courses at the college. 

Registration for this event is FREE for members and $10 for non-members.

Registration & Poster Submission due May 29^th, 2025, by 8 PM

Virtual Poster Presentation June 12^th: 3:00- 5:00pm

Details:

• Electronic posters! (See electronic poster presentation guidelines for more information)

·   Accepting completed original research, research in progress, descriptive reports, medication use evaluations with associated process improvements, and unique case reports

·   Posters will be divided into groups based on topic

• Each person will be allotted a 10-minute slot with 7 minutes to present and 3 minutes for questions
• Awards will be presented
