We are excited to invite you to our next Continuous Professional Development (CPD) event, Burning Bright or Burning Out? Don't Let Your Pharmacy Fire Fade, led by Amanda Benedetti, PharmD and Emily Doycich, PharmD, BCPS. This event will take place Monday, April 27, 11:00 AM 12:00 PM and this activity is eligible for live ACPE credit. 

Dr. Benedetti is a Pain Management and Opioid Stewardship Pharmacy Specialist at MetroHealth Systems and additionally serves as the PGY1 Residency Program Director. She serves in the Office of Opioid Safety where she leads efforts to promote the safe, evidencebased use of medications for pain management and OUD. In this role, she contributes to systemwide quality and safety initiatives as a member of the Controlled Substance Safety Committee and the Controlled Substance Peer Review Committee.


Dr. Doycich is an Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Specialist at MetroHealth Systems and serves as the PGY1 Residency Program Coordinator. Additionally, she is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Northeast Ohio Medical University, and her areas of research and professional interest include chronic disease state management, weight management, pharmacogenomics, academia, and professional development.



Both speakers recognize that healthcare workers are at a high risk of burnout, as there are a variety of work-related factors that contribute to this risk. Though wellness has become an organizational focus for many health systems over the past several years, many pharmacy employees still suffer from significant burnout. Recognizing these factors and learning strategies to combat burnout can assist in developing wellness plans that can be long-lasting and overall beneficial. To receive credit, you must participate in the CPE activity and complete all the steps found in the "Complete Credit Requirements" link provided by the LecturePanda registration confirmation email. After following the link, these steps will include: reviewing the course learning materials. confirming information provided on registration. claiming participation in applicable credits and completing all listed evaluations and quizzes. Credit requirements must be completed within 60 days of the program activity date. Upon completion, credit will be transmitted electronically to the ACPE. All transmitted credit will be viewable in your CPE Monitor profile within 24 hours.
