We are excited to invite you to our next Continuous Professional Development (CPD) event, 2026 Leadership Development Seminar Series: USP 800 – Operational Checklist and Best Practices, led by Salwa Arafa, MSc, PhD., RPH. Salwa Arafa, PhD, RPh is a Pharmacist II Operations Specialist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She earned her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a concentration in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Pharmacy Leadership at the same institution. Dr. Arafa practices in inpatient pharmacy operations and has a strong interest in medication safety, pharmacy leadership, and operational excellence. She will present “USP 800: Operational Checklist and Best Practices” sharing practical strategies for implementing and sustaining safe hazardous drug handling practices in health system pharmacy operations.
