Event Overview

The speakers for the RPDC are two of our very own OSHP members and ASHP Lead Surveyors, Mandy Leonard (Cleveland Clinic) and Nicole Harger-Dykes (University of Cincinnati Medical Center).

This workshop will review strategies to apply accreditation standards for the design and conduct of a pharmacy residency program, including requirements related to program purpose, competency areas, goals, and objectives, program structure, learning experiences, orientation, use of preceptor roles, evaluation, resident development plans, and continuous residency program improvement. Workshops will include information, example scenarios, resources, idea- sharing, and plenty of time for questions! Learn about the residency purpose statements and competency areas, educational goals and objectives, as well as requirements for residency program structure, orientation, learning experiences, preceptor roles, evaluation, resident development plans, and continuous residency program improvement. During the workshop attendees will be grouped based on PGY1 New Programs, PGY1 Existing Programs, PGY2 New Programs, or PGY2 Existing Programs.
